Incredible $30 Cartography Humble Bundle Is a Virtual Tabletop GM's Dream

After a short availability back in April, this cartography software collection is back for a limited time available until Dec. 2. Hailed as a "treasure trove of assets and apps" created by a specialized software company over the years, the entire collection carries a value of more than thirteen hundred dollars. Additionally, there exist three different bundles available here.

The Main Attraction

The big draw is definitely permanent access for Campaign Cartographer 3+, an industry-standard cartography program that can be used to generate various types including fantasy overworld maps, detailed regional charts, city maps, and most notably, dungeon and tabletop battle maps.

Package Levels

Basic Package

The cheapest bundle tier, at a minimum cost of $1, features merely four from the thirty-nine available products: Symbol Set 1: Fantasy Overland, Token Treasury: Monsters 1, Castle Source Maps, Urban Source Maps. This package suits existing CC3+ users, but it does offer fresh fantasy design elements for overworld maps, more than 750 monster tokens for use in virtual tabletops, more than two dozen aerial castle designs with 470 associated map tokens, eight complete urban centers, plus seventy-plus building interiors.

Mid-Range Option

The eight-item bundle starting at fifteen dollars is where things get more interesting through inclusion of permanent CC3+ access, Cartographer's Annual Vol 1, Ultimate Mapping Guidebook, and Symbol Set 6: Isometric Cities. Cartographer's Annual is the annual collection from the company's ongoing subscription program which includes multiple CC3+ enhancements including map packs and various other tools. The Isometric Cities enables display cities with an extra dimension with isometric views from all sides. Meanwhile, the Mapping Tome is a 760-page for beginners and "power users" alike, full of tips and tutorials covering cartography techniques.

Every volume from the Annual series are included here, alongside a slew of other resource and asset packs enabling creators to design entire planets or galaxies, or focus exclusively on traditional fantasy world-building: battle maps, dungeons, cities, and land masses in multiple viewpoints. You can even design character illustrations. For $30 as opposed to $15, the complete collection is so worth it, especially for cartographers who have only the annual CC3+ license and want to upgrade to lifetime. But it's obviously an even better deal for map-making newbies since it includes the beginners' tutorials to facilitate learning. The sole limitation though the purchase is available across platforms, the software is only usable with Windows systems.

Philanthropic Aspect

Similar to previous bundles, a portion of each sale supports charitable organizations. In this instance, that's Save the Children, established in 1919 by Eglantyne Jebb focused on improving the lives of children worldwide through education, health care, and emergency relief.
